The KAZIMIR BASE metal bed frame by Studio Martell combines a minimalist design with a robust steel construction. The clean lines and open base give this designer bed frame a modern and calming appearance.

The bed is available in various sizes, including a single bed of 90 × 200 cm, a 140 × 200 cm bed and double beds in 160 × 200, 180 × 200 and 200 × 200 cm.

Extra-long versions with lengths of 210 and 220 cm are also available.

You can choose from colours including blue, green and copper brown.

KAZIMIR BASE is designed for those who want to combine the clean design of a designer bed with the flexibility of a separate bed frame. The sturdy steel frame provides excellent stability and durability and forms a solid base for different types of mattresses and bed bases.

The minimalist construction allows the bed frame to fit easily into different bedrooms and interior styles. Thanks to its timeless design, it maintains a calm and understated appearance, while the high-quality steel construction ensures years of use.

Are the beds suitable for slatted bed bases and electric bed bases?

Yes, the beds are suitable for all kind of slatted bed bases and electric bed bases. 

Do you also sell the slatted base?

Yes. We offer wooden slatted bedbases that are specially designed for our beds.

The wooden slatted base provides firm and even support, while its open structure allows for optimal air circulation underneath the mattress.

It is also designed to be completely silent, so you can enjoy a peaceful and comfortable night's sleep.

Does the mattress sit inside the bed frame?

Yes. Unlike beds where the mattress rests on top of the frame, Studio Martell beds are designed with the bed base and mattress recessed within the steel frame.

With our slatted bedbase the mattress sits 7,5cm into the frame

For bed bases higher the 8cm we can make an add on, in order to make the electric bed base invisible.

Can I use two separate mattresses and slatted bed bases or two electric adjustable bed bases?

Yes. Our beds are designed to accommodate two separate mattresses and bed bases.

For a 160 × 200 cm bed, you can use two 80 × 200 cm mattresses with two 80 × 200 cm slatted or electric adjustable bed bases.

For a 180 × 200 cm bed, you can use two 90 × 200 cm mattresses with two 90 × 200 cm slatted or electric adjustable bed bases.

The mattress size I am looking for is not on your list. Can you make a bed in a different size?

Yes. We make all our beds in the size you require, so we can accommodate non-standard mattress sizes.

Which colours are available?

In addition to our standard colours, we can also provide other colors on request. See the color chart on the product information page for the available options.

Are the metal beds powder coated?

Yes. Our beds are finished with latest-generation powder coating, providing excellent durability and scratch resistance.

The smooth, high-quality finish is easy to maintain and has a pleasant, soft feel to the touch.

Do you also make extra-long beds?

Yes. We make all our metal beds and metal canopy beds in extra-long lengths of 210 and 220 cm. Even with these extra-long dimensions, the robust construction ensures excellent stability and durability.

Mounting ⌄

Is it easy to mount the bed?

Yes. Our beds are designed for easy assembly. Simply use the included screws and tools to securely tighten all the connections.

Are metal beds noisy?

Not Studio Martell beds. Our beds feature an exclusive, robust connection system specifically designed to prevent noise and creaking.

Especially after first installation, make sure that all screws are properly tightened. If necessary, retighten the screws after a few weeks to ensure the connections remain secure and completely silent.
